About
Frank Espinoza Portraiture
Hi! My name is Frank. I'm originally from Lima, Peru. I consider myself a Peruvian Ambassador, and can tell you anything you need to know about Peru, and whatever I don’t know… I promise I'll google it and tell you! 😊
I left Peru when the ocean called my name and started sailing through countries around the world. I enjoyed the oceans for almost 10 years… So many memories, so much color out there!
I’m a proud contributor of the Cary community now but I kept the very friendly part of the Peruvians with me, so if you see me on the street I’ll surely have a smiley hello for you.
My parents always said that I was born an artist, that I will see something where others don’t, that I see colors everywhere. I remember always chasing the artistic path. My background was Graphic Design and I loved it for years until I started getting interested in communications… Then I decided to open up my world, get out of the office chair, and explore what’s out there!
While traveling around the world, photography felt like a natural call. I was seeing so many colors in the parts of the world I visited. I kept photographing wherever I was while keeping my full-time job in other areas.
Sailing across the seas gave me the opportunity to meet people of so many countries, so many cultures, ethnicities, so much to learn! They will all tell you about their delicious food, their traditional costumes, beliefs, and traditions…. Everything! And yes, lots of colors!
After hanging up my sailor uniform, life turned even more beautiful by getting married, embracing our 3 dogs, and being blessed with 2 wonderful babies… All this topped only by settling in Cary, NC (I'll go to the details of that story at another time). Once established on land I decided to sharpen up my photography skills by pursuing the Professional Photographers of America certification - and with it - assuring ultimate excellence to my photography art. It was hours, days, months of intensive learning until I finally earned my certification. It felt glorious!.
By creating with photography I have the pleasure of meeting many new people (clients!), new friends with different cultures, thoughts, new perspectives. I have come to the conclusion that we aren’t all the same world but we are individual worlds with unique individualities, and primary colors that under some circumstances can bright alike or different, but they are the same… Our colors are our auras.
I believe that every one of us has an inner goal of being portrayed and remembered for years to come by our children, grandchildren and, hey, you keep going on and on because a portrait of ourselves is pure art, embellishing a wall of your house for generations to come.
